From 15 to 18 July, project members Hannah Page and Georgia Long visited the Manchester Museum, the Garstang Museum of Archaeology and the World Museum Liverpool in order to study clay figurines in their collections. During their stay, Hannah and Georgia recorded the objects and studied them with pXRF and digital microscope (DinoLite). Many of the clay figures have received little (or no) attention so far, and we are very excited to have been able to take a closer look at them. We thank dr. Campbell Price (Manchester Museum), dr. Gina Criscenzo-Laycock (Garstang Museum) and dr. Ashley Cooke (World Museum) for this wonderful collaboration!
