On 11–13 June, members of the PIPE Project explored the Portable X-ray Fluorescence (pXRF) and digital microscope (DinoLite) in the archaeometry lab of the Department of Forms and Knowledge of the University of Pisa. After having carried out calibrations, team member Hannah Page gave an introduction on how to use the DinoLite and pXRF when studying clay objects in museums. We are now ready for our next research trip! (coming up in July)
