From 18 to 20 December the Netherlands Institute for the Near East (NINO) at Leiden University hosted the conference “Unseen—Untold: Stories of non-elite communities”.
Team members Georgia Long and Hannah Page shared their research on clay figurines, with a paper titled "All Made of the Same Clay: Decoding the Interaction Between Social Groups in Middle Bronze Age Egypt through the Case Study of Clay Figurines" (Georgia Long) and a poster on "Symbolic Materials: raw material choice in non-elite clay figurines from the Egyptian Middle Bronze Age" (Hannah Page).
